I wanted to throw up last year when Billy made the playoffs and I didn't...And yeah, your a powerhouse too, no need to be modest...Periphery wise you are the scariest team in the East right now, alongisde Shiv. I think over the past month Scott's team has really come back down to earth, still a great team, but by no means the run away favourites. This year is going to be a tight race, but in the end I'll come out on top .

IMO Shiv's downfall is that he bases far too much on past seasons stat, each year is different, and with it come different variable that have profound effects on the standings, I don't think he has taken that simple fact into great enough consideration, but I'm sure he will make the appropriate changes when the time comes, he is EXCELLENT at adapting to his surroundings.

Scott is just a stud, but even he knows he has undergone significant downgrades, and Marty is a huge question mark in net.

Your team is scary in the periphery categories, but you have some cap issues that need to be resolved, I'm interested to see how you deal with those changes.

Nick...Great team, but hes young. I think he will be a difficult opponent to beat, but I'm not sure if he's ready to dominate this season.

I've got the most top heavy roster, but I'm likely the weakest in total periphery stats, I have the cap space and farm system to make an over the top move if neccasarry.

My team took a huge hit and I would not be surprised if I miss the playoffs.

Scott is definately among the contenders, but if you compare his roster today to the championship winning one, it simply isn't as good. Like you said it doesnt mean he isn't a favourite, but there is no longer a division between New Jersey and the rest of the league like there was last season.

I know my team isn't last years team but I had to make some decisions and I love the decisions I've made so far. Losing Brian Gionta, Stephen Weiss, Travis Zajac, Curtis Glencross, James Neal and Evgeni Malkin is pretty tough on a team. Some I made just to help my future some to improve my cap situation but you guys know I'll always be in the thick of it. I don't think I'll win but hey.. I want to keep the undefeated streak going as long as possible, hopefully that's a record that'll never be broken. I want to make it as tough for my opponent as possible every week and make sure nobody will ever have an easy week against me. Anyway.. it will be what it'll be but so far I really like my team heading into the year and other then Steve, I believe I have the best top line in our league and I'm right there with you Kareem with the group of forward and my D isn't too shaby at all.
