Both Fabregas and Torres future in the World Cup are ??? heading into the WC, they can say whatever they want, but neither are locks to play in it, far from it infact, and both will likely be playing at 70% or less.Habber wroteCOLONTorres will be back in time and David Villa will fill in just fine for him. With the best goalie in the world in goal the defense doesnt have to be perfect either. To me Spain is the only team that stands out in this world cup, everyone else is a crap shoot.
David Villa and Torres are FAR MORE effective playing together, and Spain planned their attack around those two, so no Villa cannot just fill in for Torres if he is unavailable. Fact of the matter is that Villa himself is nowhere near as effective alone.Habber wroteCOLONTorres will be back in time and David Villa will fill in just fine for him. Likely worst manager of the tournament too.MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONBoth Fabregas and Torres future in the World Cup are ??? heading into the WC, they can say whatever they want, but neither are locks to play in it, far from it infact, and both will likely be playing at 70% or less.Habber wroteCOLONTorres will be back in time and David Villa will fill in just fine for him. In a tournament with so many powerhouse teams, I'm not a fan of Spain, too many injury question marks. I'm personally leaning towards Argentina, they have far and away the best forwad core in the world, Sergio Aguero, Lionel Messi, Carlos Tevez, Diego Milito and Gonzalo Higuain.
I'm not so sure about Brazil..theyve made some questionable roster selections. But I agree, they are always a contender.inferno31 wroteCOLONLikely worst manager of the tournament too.MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONBoth Fabregas and Torres future in the World Cup are ??? heading into the WC, they can say whatever they want, but neither are locks to play in it, far from it infact, and both will likely be playing at 70% or less.Habber wroteCOLONTorres will be back in time and David Villa will fill in just fine for him. For that reason I wouldn't be betting on them.
I like spains chances to be honest as well, I'm pretty sure Torres will be playing after all it is the world cup. Brazils another contender, but I'm pulling for the 3 lions as always.
The exclusion of Ronaldinho was disgraceful...bcool wroteCOLONI'm not so sure about Brazil..theyve made some questionable roster selections. But I agree, they are always a contender.
I know, after he was in all those Nike Ads!MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONThe exclusion of Ronaldinho was disgraceful...bcool wroteCOLONI'm not so sure about Brazil..theyve made some questionable roster selections. But I agree, they are always a contender.
It's not uncommon, he dominated the sport for years, after a certain point the game catches up to you, the same thing happened to Shevchenko a few years ago.inferno31 wroteCOLONI know, after he was in all those Nike Ads!
Seriously though, don't think I've ever seen a player fall off like he did.
He fell off though when he was still quite young, its hard not to beleive those rumours when a player nosedives like that.MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONIt's not uncommon, he dominated the sport for years, after a certain point the game catches up to you, the same thing happened to Shevchenko a few years ago.inferno31 wroteCOLONI know, after he was in all those Nike Ads!
