In terms of forwards? I can definitely see that. The list is completely different if you add goalies and defenceman though.

i dont think there is a more consistent deke specialist in the league, by far and wide take into account the last few years i think he would be hands down winner, it would be tedious to statistically back that up i just think hes an absolute magician... probably not enough to warrant datsyuk a top 5 player (Goalies and Dmen included) at this point but if hands alone were used as a measurement datsuyk wins by a longshot

i disagree man. in an nhl wide poll i can almost guarantee every gm puts datsyuk in their top 5 to win the cup TODAY. my top 5 in no particular order:

crosby, datsyuk, ovechkin, lidstrom, toews (I wanted to say Pronger but thats when hes playing like last year but hes injured).

I would NOT have a goalie in there. time and time again post lockout its been proven that goaltending is not the KEY ingredient that builds championship teams (its a huge part yes). but its better to have a better core of skaters and a good goalie than a better goalie and a lower tier of skaters.

stamkos well depends on how he does this year. havent seen him in the post season yet though its hard to argue against him.

and its hossa from a picture while he was in pittsburgh a couple of years ago lol. hes just darkened a little while i did a few things to the banner. too much work to fix it and i think it looks good enough anyway.
