How about those Blues, I watched them play against Boston and the Rangers, man are they a good little team, fast, they work really hard, play very well in front on Halak and Conklin, is it a stretch to say they could very well win their division

detroit will probably take that division this year but stl is the future imo. even more so than chicago. theyre too deep. Oshie + Backes as the core up front. Johnson at the back. and Halak is proving he is a top 3 goalie in the league. just too good. i see a cup in the next 5 years.

I dont think they will win the division but third in the division is realistic. This goaltending pace wont be kept up, its unrealistic. Great future for sure though.

3rd best team in their div... but hey, remember the year the habs won the east? -> teams get hot and have really nice regular seasons.

Oshie+Backes+Johnson <Toews + Kane + Keith who are comparable to Dats + Zetty + Lids.

Halak is great...definitely the best pickup of the offseason. The Blues haven't had a goalie this good in a long time...maybe since Roman Turek, who had a ridiculous '99-00 season. Overall, they've a really solid team since they turned to Davis Payne. They were 23-15-4 last year after the coaching change.

I'll make a wager that the Blues come 2nd in their division.
