Completely agree Shiv, playoffs in Toronto this season, and then next season were signing Richards! (not being sarcastic, although it certainly seems that way)

If the Leafs continue to play with the passion they have shown so far this pre and reg season, they are a playoff team. They may not have the depth but they have a great top two 5 man lines. That with the swagger they seem to have. They will be in most games if not all.

On a side note, I have to say that the Canucks have to be my personal favorite for a cup this year They have so much depth at every position. Then throw Burrows into the mix. They are stacked. Malhotra has to e one of the best third line centers in the league.

I felt that way about vancouver also...until i watched them play so far and realized that their big performers last year and big career years and the chance of all 6 of them repeating career years is pretty insane...GREAT blueline and at times GREAT goaltending, but I think their struggle to score goals is going to hurt them this year...so I guess im agreeing with kareem and others here when I say Detroit is top dogs in the west and Vancouver will have to fight to win their division...

Lol, I know its not a norm but if I wasnt bleeding Black and Gold I would probably be a Canucks fan as my first Canadian team. I just love the speed that team always seems to have and I find there games exciting. I really dont hate any other NHL teams. I just LOVE the Bruins. Obviously i have a vested interest in the Leafs doing bad because of the pick, but that is not going to happen this year. The leaf games I have seen have actually been real exciting. I love great hockey and dont care what teams are playing.

Well the more you speak your mind the better picture you paint of yourself. I love hockey. I dont hate anyone who likes another team. I guess i'm not a real fan. How can you hate someone that it is so obvious that you love so much? You need a big hug. I bet even a man hug would make you feel a bit better.
