The deadline is noon eastern, please fix rosters before then.

I edited the teams lineups..
Basically this is what happened: I forgot to update that we can have 3-5 centres and ATL & DET only have 3 C's each. DAL & NSH just had their pressbox players in their active lineups.. all good now.

4. ROSTER MANAGEMENT
.........
4-3-4 : Teams must have either one (1) or two (2) goalies
in fact the lineup i
submitted already had only 1 goalie in the active roster without anyone arguing about it..

k. however the wording is Mik, you must have 2 goalies dressed. we already had that issue last year.

ehm...
"4-3-4 : Teams must have either one (1) or two (2) goalies"
...it's not about the wording, it's about the rule.. i was not here last season, but apparently you changed the rule.

honestly its nothing more then a typo, we were very clear CBA is subject to change when that occurs... you need 2 goalies.
/end convo.

re-open convo..
facey wroteCOLONhonestly its nothing more then a typo, we were very clear CBA is subject to change when that occurs... you need 2 goalies.
hard to see that as a typo when it's very clearly stated that you can have one goalie.
Let's just say the addition of what Scott just specified was forgotten in the official CBA.
However, i submitted the lineup under those CBA rules, no one argued with that lineup and i was not here last season to know how it worked.. so, ruling by something that was never written you're basically changing the rules retrospectively as far as i could know. And changing the rules retrospectively should never be the route to take..hopefully we all agree on this.
now, leaving principles matters aside, if a player ever had to be dropped on CBS in place for MacDonald, that should have been Holos (or even lundmark, or slater..), NOT Drury.
Holos was the extra D, Drury was my 7th winger.. having him dropped, i am down to 6 wingers and not even compliant with the minimum required:
"4-2-1: Teams must have between seven (7) and nine (9) wingers"

I'm not involved, in any way, with the changes made (I was also out of town). But under no circumstance can a team have 19 active skaters.

Seems like a transcription error from the old rules to the new CBA. Doesn't make sense, you can't have more than 19 skaters. But Mik followed it to the letter, not his fault. I say let it go this week as it wasn't his fault, give him till next week to address it?

he can tell Matt/Mike/Scott to make the required changes right now.. not fair to his opponent.
Remember, 29 GM's didn't have this issue.
We try to run a realistic league, if you find yourself able to do something that doesn't seem realistic (like dressing another skater in place of a backup), stop. Point it out, it might have been over-looked, it might be a typo, or you might be missing some info.
I dunno who checked the central div rosters, should've grabbed the mess up... but seriously... excepting that much baby sitting, and then expecting to have a voice as well, is pure bs.

good to know now, but lol at the fact i should use realism to guess the rules.. it's not like everything we have is identical to real world.. we don't have free agency, having more than 18 skaters could have been another, less significant, difference from real world.
Anyway, even when you guys decide it's my fault and MacDonald needs to be dropped, i don't get why Drury should be the player cut:

Kyuss, I already said i had nothing to do with that decision. I was informing you that 19 skaters is not allowed.
This is not a bunch of us harping on you, I could care less who you send where.
you are allowed 1 or 2 goalies... but if you dress 1 you don't get an extra skater.
there is no way for us to realistically do free agency, you can stop bringing that up in every thread you post in.

you might as well stop bringing up realism, even as a sub for non written rules.. the free agency thing only comes up once in a while as a consequence..

guess what, i care, and i can't see why Drury should be taken out of my lineup..
since you don't care i hope someone else will.
