That video was really for Shoalize and Shiv. But wow, that kind of skill is just something amazing to watch. He makes defenders and goalies look so silly you'd think it was hockey's harlem globetrotters or something. His ability to stick handle that well, and with no space left it seems always get the puck top cheese is just amazing to watch.

when said individual has a major role in producing said team's accomplishment, it is very relevant. i.e. talking about dion at the world juniors is a check mark in his column. now if youre talking about something liek stan bowmans role in the blackhawks winning the cup last year then yes youre right.

When speaking in those terms, sure, but you said Dats is better because of...And continued on to cite team achievements. Under certain conditions, team accomplishments can help in judging two close players (similar point totals, individual accomplishments etc.) but even then it's sometimes foolish, because as is the case in any team sport, it's the team that wins, not a single player. You can be the best hockey player in the world, but if you're team sucks, you aren't going to achieve much in the way of team accomplishments, and in this case the Detroit Red Wings, they are vastly superior to either the Leafs or Flames.
