Any chance I could acquire the 3 voided picks (2 Arizona, and 1 Tampa) from the draft? Either by a retroactive trade, or compensation? If I was here I would have tried as well. Figured I'd ask, as my prospect pool as it stands is quite barren (I have guys like Ty Wishart, Jason Akeson, and Marek Viedensky -- guys who shouldn't even be on a roster, and I can't imagine any of you having your pools filled with players like that haha) and even acquiring the 211th, 212th, and 213th pick in the draft, no matter the odds is something I feel could help my team, even if it's just a superficial plus.

Those players usually go back into next years draft and the issue is since we do our draft before the NHLs there can be players that we skip over that are drafted decently high in the NHL. Allowing people to make picks after the NHL draft is definitely an advantage, but with how bad your pool is and the quality of prospects available I'm not completely against it.

Nick has been doing good so far.. picking up 2 scoring leaders in the WHL this season with second round picks..

i have a top 10 pick list.. but thanks to uglymike my pick is 11th... fuck me
