Ongoing CBA Discussion Thread
Re: Ongoing CBA Discussion Thread
He should have. I believe I was asking the least of all the goalie holders from him tho, so don't toss me. Under the bus.

Ur the one who poached the pick.
Fwiw I didn't really throw u under the bus, just said Scott should have said "fuck that" but obviously didn't.

Re: Ongoing CBA Discussion Thread
Here's a thought, stop being morons and overpaying just to complete a system? If goalie prices are outrageously high, do not pay them. If people stop buying back up goalies for 1st round picks, people will stop asking for 1st round picks.
I have zero intentions of trying to land Scott Darling from Mik because the prices are ridiculous.

Paying that for the best goalie in the world vs. paying the 20th overall pick for Curtis McElhinney is a bit of a difference.Lee wroteCOLONYup... Eichel for Price.

Re: Ongoing CBA Discussion Thread
Shep gets it.
In a perfect world, I would've preferred giving up a mid 1st for Smith. I paid what I paid because it was either that or nothing. That pick isn't guaranteed to be top 3 or 5 but some seem to think that's what it'll be. I needed a starter but I didn't need a backup or the entire Coyote system. I'm hopefully out of the goalie market for a few years and I can use resources on building my team and decrease the value of that pick I traded.

I was referring to eichel for price as compared to smith for probably a top 3 pick, so no, not really.KapG wroteCOLONThere's a stupid comparison if there ever was one.Lee wroteCOLONYup... Eichel for Price.

Re: Ongoing CBA Discussion Thread
What are we using for the cap of a player with his salary retained?
ie- I have Kessel who's normal cap hit is 8mil, but Pittsburgh is only paying 6.8mil. Do we use the full, or the modified/retained?

Re: Ongoing CBA Discussion Thread
Can we update the cap on Fantrax so its 2015-16 vs last year? No biggie if its a pain, but if an easy fix, that would be nice.
Re: Ongoing CBA Discussion Thread
so I guess I forgot to do it back then... but went to update it now and I saw 71.4 already, someone else was faster?
