that's why this year we started the draft early.

as for the freeze, you can't do much preventing people to wait for NHL picks otherwise.

That's fine, let them then. But not sure why we would freeze the draft. If people want to wait, that's their choice. But let the people that want to draft go, and if people want to wait they can. I just don't know why the draft has to be stopped. At this rate our draft will be frozen from Wednesday until Saturday night.

the point was putting everyone in the same situation, knowing it from the start.

If people are comfortable drafting to start the 3rd round, I don't see why we should prevent them from doing so. Personally... I have a list of players I'm planning on taking regardless of who is still on the board..

IMO people should be rewarded for researching, not looking down a draft board.

Again, I don't care if people wait to see who goes. But why punish the rest of us that want to keep picking?

If you wanted to freeze, I think freezing at like 6pm Friday and resuming after the NHL draft makes more sense than the end of our 2nd round which is likely going to be mid-day Wednesday.

I did my homework over and over for the draft. SO why give a chance to the gm that didn't even try.
There should be no free, dumb ideal.
