Arian The Insider wroteCOLONI like Chabot as well. Would have been my pick at 21 too.
Wouldn't have made it to 21 if it were me lol! It was Provorov, Hanifin, Roy, and Werenski for me in the top half of the draft for defenders in that order. Chabot was the best of the next group of guys.

if i didn't need the depth i wouldnt have traded that pick

lol i just liked colin white a bit better. Hanifin, Provorov, Werenski, Roy for me, but I thought they were all pretty close. Chabot definitely next up after them though.

Provorov is the one in that group that I think has a chance to be a legit #1 franchise defenseman. Hanifin is the safest bet in the draft to be a top 4 defender. Roy might be the smartest defender in this draft and probably the 2nd safest pick on defense. Werenski is similar to Hanifin, but lacks the consistency that Hanifin shows while I think also having a higher offensive upside than Hanifin.

I have to say, Provorov was the most dominant of the 4 when he was on the ice from my viewings.

Yup Hong took the two guys I was targeting with that pick. In the end I'm happy with Bracco.

Tiny, but hard to ignore Bracco's offensive numbers.

Yep I'll take the chance. He plays with a ton of grit for a guy his size too.

Still not on pick 26, and this time last year we were on pick 38.

June 6th at 11:48 pick 18 was made

We finished before the NHL draft and that's the goal again. If we fail to complete the draft in time then we would have to look at making changes for next year, but too premature to be worried right now. Draft starts one day earlier in the NHL this year, but 22 more days should give us enough time.
