Re: New Jersey Devils' New GM
the pressure was too great
Re: New Jersey Devils' New GM
I've yelled at him over facebook
Re: New Jersey Devils' New GM
I gave him a long write up telling him about all the people who would try and fuck him over. He read it and never came back.
Re: New Jersey Devils' New GM
Darn. I was really looking forward to trying to fuck him over.

You'll be the one needing to find a replacement then!
Re: New Jersey Devils' New GM
I'll take over NJ, new guy can have Flyers.
Re: New Jersey Devils' New GM
If you wanna rebuild so badly why not just re-selling off your current pieces for prospects.Lee wroteCOLONI'll take over NJ, new guy can have Flyers.

Re: New Jersey Devils' New GM
I like building from nothing. basement teams are revolving doors because no one want to put in the time to build them up. the flyers are there and I'd love a new challenge.
Re: New Jersey Devils' New GM
not exactly true.. there have been several examples of newcomers fully committing to those situations, me and you being among them for examplesLee wroteCOLONI like building from nothing. basement teams are revolving doors because no one want to put in the time to build them up.
Re: New Jersey Devils' New GM
yup for sure. not no one but it takes a certain something to commit to that situation.
Re: New Jersey Devils' New GM
I don't understand---why people join---then disappear
Re: New Jersey Devils' New GM
Feel lonely for a few days so they join fantasy hockey league and everyone talks to them. Build up confidence, then go off meds and go into hiding. Very similar to Bi-Polar disorder. Have a good one Devo!dave1959 wroteCOLONI don't understand---why people join---then disappear
Re: New Jersey Devils' New GM
I think he may have disappeared due to not being able to trade for 2 weeks.

Re: New Jersey Devils' New GM
The whole point of the trade freeze is to get accustomed to the league and gauge different value by browsing the trade forums, looking at different trades, seeing comments on them to see how the value is. Otherwise, what is the point of the trade freeze if you just disappear for 2 weeks and come back ready to go. You'll have learned nothing IMO.

Re: New Jersey Devils' New GM
No, I left because I am not interested in being a GM any more.

Re: New Jersey Devils' New GM
exactly, which means I'll vote for his trade freeze to only start from the day he starts signing in regularly (if it ever happens)Shep wroteCOLONThe whole point of the trade freeze is to get accustomed to the league and gauge different value by browsing the trade forums, looking at different trades, seeing comments on them to see how the value is.
