Yea Kane isn't really doing much this year eh? I expected a bit more out of Winnipeg this season. I guess they get a pass this year for the changes and travel but i really thought id see more.

his production for toi is awesome, but his toi is low...so...

They guy is a stud in the making. I think he would be even better if the team could put it together. They really do not have a legit top line on that team.

Little-Kane was awesome last year as a line and a pK duo... Ladd nice even strength linemate IMO.

Seems to be no chemistry going. Wheeler was a nice fit last season too. Not so much this year. Ladd is not performing as he is expected too. I mean Antropov is the MVP of that team atm. Burmistrov looks to be the real deal and has the makings to be a stud. Love his play.

It's easier to play big when you know your entire team is ready to stand up for you. Miller does that to Lucic and the Sabers watch him get dummied.

Miller is also one of the biggest whiners in the league. His team-mates probably know that and don't feel obligated to stand up for him. Remember the Mike Richards incident...Miller looks like a douche when he grabs the media to do that.

Good points. Guastad should be the one jumping in. What happened to jumping in even if you arent a fighter to step up for your team-mate that was wronged. That is what sparks team chemistry , imo.

Woah. I was just looking at some stats and Matt Cooke has a grand total of 4 PIM this year... Guess he really has changed. Too bad.

they have a ton of grit in the minors... Myers should be stepping in if he sees himself as a #1, future captain, etc.

November 23rd gents, mark it on your calendars...its going to be a blood bath! I expect at the very least the Sabres sending Ellis to the pressbox in order to call up Kassian or some minor league thug to take a run at Thomas/Rask.

We always get excited for stuff like that and nothing ever happens. EXCEPT....in the Pit/NYI bloodbath. That would be exciting. Only problem there is the Bruins have the following players who will go when needed:

Campbell
Kelly
Seidenberg
Boychuk
Ference
McQuaid
Lucic
Horton
Marchand
Chara
Bergeron(maybe- small sample size:))
Krejci(maybe- small sample size )

Most of those guys are tough fuckers. Good luck in that Buffalo. Thomas would go against anything Buffalo can throw at him. I wouldn't be shocked to see him pull a Sedin body check and initiate tbh...

The way to play against Boston (IMO) is to play to their strengths, play physical and take cheap shots, the group is incredibly undisciplined and often you can get their best players to trade off with lesser lites.
