following players are missing:
BURISH, ADAM - 0.52 FOR
LECAVALIER, VINCENT - 0.42 FOR
BRIERE, DANIEL - 0.40 FOR
in our case, if 2014-2015 cut off ratio is 0.45, I have the right to start Vinny + Briere on wing starting this season?
P.S. still doesn't explain Burish not being there

Want to make sure I understand. So looking at a player like Strome on my team, who will most likely start and play next season as a winger but has only been a center in the past. Does this mean that no matter what he will be considered a center all next season? Or is there a midseason date where a re-evaluation process takes place?

As per our FOR calculation, Strome's numbers are as follows:
http://www.nhl.com/ice/playerstats.htm? ... =timeOnIce#
FOT/TOI = 374 FOT/562 TOI
= 0.67 FOR
0.67 > 0.45 therefore, Strome is a CENTRE headin into this year

And he would be locked in as a C for the entire year?

unless he ends up in a situation where his FOR drops dramatically starting this season ie. he stops taking draws almost entirely, but with consistent ice time, and his early 23-25 game FOR review becomes LESS than 0.45, then u have a choice of switching him to a winger position or keep him at centre as per ur discretion
but yes, he would 100% start at C starting October

btw these numbers are all speculations... I'm sorta lazy to go check and see if CC actually set on the numbers this yr yet.... I kno last yr it was like 26 game past for early review and cut off FOR for C/W was 0.35 or something...

Two updates actually.
Hopefully i'll be able to get back on this later this week.
Some OT recent events:
I left for a week of vacation and forgot to notify in the dedicated thread. I thought it was not a problem as i was going to have web access through my mobile.
Things didn't go exactly as expected.
On the 2nd and last day on the seaside, my mobile was stolen.
Moved on the mountains, it started raining all the time and my gf mobile lost connection save for some moments .
I got a new mobile but the idiots at my provider sent the new card to the wrong address.
The night before coming back home i had a car accident hitting a small deer. Car not working anymore. Because of festivities, only tomorrow i should be able to have someone working on it... can't come back until it is at least partiakly repaired.
Great fucking Summer!

Ryan White is listed as W but should be a C (0.77 FOR)
Quinton Howden is listed as C but should be a W (0.04 FOR)
I have two dual-eligible NHL forwards (C,W):
Sam Bennett
Pierre-Edouard Bellemare

thx Scott, all fixed now.
Bellemare brought up a brand new situation:
never played in the NHL, never drafted (which would be the following source for his starting position), and dual on Fantrax (which would be the default position for those undrafted) whereas we do not allow duals.
So I did what we do for those listed C/W on nhl.com draft lists: --> W as starting position

That's fine. He's projected as the 4th line center for the Flyers so either position isn't a big deal. It'll sort itself out during the season. I have only 3 active centers after Horcoff and Colborne switched...Bellemare will be my 4th line center.

Dubinsky is my only C/W. Needs to be changed to C.
