I consider Schneider a top 3 goalie in the NHL too. Bbkl not, but that is just cuz he is on njd.

this is surprising:

GAA Schnieder 2nd at 2.16 (Hasek is 1st - Lundqvist 10th at 2.27)

Sv% Schnieder 3rd at .925 (behind Calvin Pickard and Andrew Hammond - Lundqvist tied for 10th with Holtby at .921)


Lundqvist has most GP at 620, Miller 2nd at 580

Schnieder has played 266 - less than half of Lundqvist


Price GAA is 2.43 (29th) and Sv% is .920 (15th)

I agree with dave, Matthew and shep. Obviously lundqvist is on a better team and gives me a better chance in the short-term. Long term schnider is a far better goalie, especially in a keeper league. Not to mention the rangers goalies are almost 10mil combined.

Actually according to fantrax scoring, Schneider is the 2Nd best bbkl goalie while Lundquist comes in around 10th, despite being on a far worse team. So yes, Schneider is a better goalie in both real life and fantasy.

Schneider is not Euro so he might not be totally familiar with him, cut him some slack!

If I was in Dallas' position I would absolutely argue that Schneider is a better fit/player for my team, King Henrik has been good a long time but won't last forever, and neither will the Rangers core, as well as the cap difference as Steve has mentioned....

Crazy to think Steve tried to trade the 2nd best bbkl goalie for the more expensive 10th best.

Or you could just look at Schneider's NHL stats, mik. Hard to believe they are better than Lund's, considering he's on a worse team.

what a silly argument. Goalies' numbers depends heavily on the team in front of them. For skaters it's obviously completely different.

and even in a season where you say he was able to carry them, he will probably still struggle to finish top 15 in Wins, nor he is top 10 in SV%.

He leads the NHL with the best career SV% in NHL history. So...
