Datsyuk is an old declining asset that no longer penalty kills, doesn't score nearly as much, and seems to be getting pushed out of the center position more often. Who makes 7.5 million dollars. People tell me Bolland is an anchor with his contract and he's been much more productive than Datsyuk.

Just curious what he is training for since he didn't mention anything and it's been a while. Didn't think it was top secret or something if you knew.

I am going to Quebec for 14 weeks basic training on Jan 16th since I was accepted into the military as a pilot, but I have mentioned that before.

Dave Bolland will continue to watch from the press box in Sunday's match with Detroit.
This will be Bolland's third straight game as a healthy scratch. The veteran forward has but five points and little else to show for his efforts through 18 games thus far.

since getting back in the lineup Bolland has played 9, 12, 13, 12, 9, 8 minutes in the last 6 games, posting zero pts along the way. Has 1 goal in the whole season (24 games).
