yeah i think people look at pairings as minutes played, the best players that night will get the most minutes, not which pairing their on.

Kaberle - Phaneuf
Beauchemin - Schenn
Komisarek - Gunnarsson
Lebda
That's the way I'd play the D.

Swap Phaneuf with Finger and I agree.

Jordan Caron with a Hat trick in the B's first rookie game. Seguin with 2 Assists. Colborne got hit by a cheapshot elbow. Broken nose, chipped tooth and stitches in lip. Getting checked out for concussion.

The Elbow was not as bad as the announcer made it sound... 6'5 217lber with his head down, White-Beard is one of the biggest homer announcers I've heard... just watch the Nino fight for concrete evidence.
Seguin was
meh, though he showed how heavy his shot is (impressive), and QBed a PP like magic.
Kabanov looked dangerous but failed to show up on the scoreboard.
Caron made nothing but good decision, and was consistently rewarded for it.
Islanders goalie kept the score respectable -> Kosikonen (sp), Nino played some centre, and probably too many minutes, but looked seriously awesome.
Fowler and some little french kid had great games for the ducks today, Fowler was eliminating their for-check with embarrassing ease.
MSP looking pretty good vs the sharks... Hall looking rather impressive @ C and making excellent moves up the middle... their 4-forward power play looks AWESOME. big 77 Doherty is have an exceptional game for the Sharks.

MSP threads the needle incredibly for a player of his size, and with his skating ability. Going forward he is going to be tough to beat on the fast break, he can beat you with his hands, speed, vision or shot...Ditto with Hall, they are going to make an unreal pairing in the future.

I missed both. Any highlights for me? On a side note I coulda bought two Leafs tickets in the TD Trust Platinum seats at ACC for 300 bucks. It was for a game n January against the Ducks. Considered buying them and selling them to one of you fools in here with a C-note on top

lol i was only joking about adding money on top...lol but i was at an IWK golf tournament and that was one of the auction items. It was right behind theLeafs bench row 3 I think or the special corporate seat thingys...thought we did good with our score with a -10 but the winning team was -15. What a pissoff.

Opening a routine press briefing on the first day of the Bruins [team stats]’ full training camp today at the Garden, GM Peter Chiarelli dropped a bit of a bombshell: Star center Marc Savard is again suffering from post-concussion syndrome symptoms and will not be taking part in camp for the time being.
"In the latter part of the summer he came to us and told us he has been suffering some symptoms relates to post-concussion syndrome," said Chiarelli. "It was later in the summer. He was actually training quite hard for a number of weeks.
"He’s here, he’s being treated, he won’t be skating. He won’t be available to the media. I’ll keep you posted as I learn new news."

MA fleury is an average goalie at best. Pens wont be so mighty this year imo.
My night has been made watching Colton Orr get cold cocked to the ice by Engelland. wow what a punch.

Thank you...I've been saying this since last year, I was always under the assumption he was a good keeper, but after I got him and began watching him I slowly began to see that he is average at best, and the numbers throughout his career back that statement up.
