still starts as C for us:

You won't be allowed to use him as W until he qualifies.
Again, same for me with Nyquist and Tatar.

Request to move Jonathan Audy Marchassault to Wing.
TSN, Hockey DB and Elite Prospects list him as a winger, and he has been playing wing in the AHL:
http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdis ... pid=106595
http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=32872
http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/teams/players/bio/?id=8831
http://theahl.com/stats/player.php?id=4185
In the OP, it states that we use draft position, however JAM was never drafted. I drafted him in the waiver draft as a winger and had him listed there until I noticed that CBS differed.
I'm not sure what the ruling will be on this one, but to be honest.. I could really use another wingers with Anthony Stewart being sent down

PLEASE NOTE:
The list below does not cover all centers in the league:
even without appearing on the list, players who have yet to play enough games to be qualified accordingly with our criteria (less than 26 games last year and never 40 gp in one NHL season)
could still be BBKL centers, depending on:
- how they were listed by the NHL when drafted:
http://www.nhl.com/ice/draftsearch.htm
-
how they are listed by CBS if they were never drafted (e.g. Marcel Mueller); unfortunately, that means for some players the starting position is still unknown, as CBS has yet to add several players. A glaring example is Roman Cervenka, who may be a C or a W depending on CBS decision once he gets added.

Request to change Craig Adams from C to W
GP=21
FOT/icetime =29/225.57=0.13%
**When I traded for Adams he was a Center, once added to my lineup he was switched to W from CBS...So nobody has to switch him, but just making it legal here..

This season, automatic forwards position update is scheduled to be performed on March 12th. It will be based upon games played through March 11th.
The update will cover both W->C and C->W switches and will not require any application by GMs, but will only pertain players that will have played at least 20 games by then.
he will become a W at the update in 10 days.. i don't know how/why he switched to W with the trade.

I must say, a lot of players' positions were reset/altered by CBS after this one flunk it went through sometime January... and I can testify, that numerous GM's have inadvertently/unintentionally have taken benefit of using and enjoying those automatic alterations of player position changes without informing the CC/Mik in which are NOT compatible/consistent with BBKL positional ruling... This make me somewhat mad, because I've been honest with my player positional change alteration, and had it changed it back to proper BBKL-compliant position, such as Quinton Howden to name a few.

If you have examples of this why not ... tell us?

Cuz I don't wanna be a tattle tail, and trusted the respective GM's to take notice of such changes themselves and take care of their own team. I have done it ONCE, regarding Pete's team (Mike Rupp) if you recall. But yea, I wasn't gonna do it for everybody I'm not an admin/CC.

right... So you have a problem with people having screwed up positions, you claim you have evidence of these mistakes, but you are unwilling to fix the problem?? You're an odd fellow, Paul.

Do I get penalized for this act? because it sound awful lot as if I've been 'sheltering' many illegal position change harbouring immigrants.
perhaps "testify" may have been somewhat of a strong/confirming/convicting word to use in trying to make my point clear. LOL
I never really had any concrete evidence for all teams... but all I meant was that I had some speculations regarding this because if I've been affected, then chances are, so many more other GM's should've been reporting positional change problems left and right, but I have yet to see much at all. Merely speculation. Because see, how FLA chris just comes out of his little closet FINALLY realizing what has happened with Adams... I was moreso just stressing the fact that not enough GM's must be paying full attention to their teams. He had been using Adams on wing for nearly 2+ weeks without saying anything, when he should've been switched instantly to centre upon the trade on Feb 17th.
Same example may apply to Pete who tried using Rupp as a centre after trading with me way back in January when he should've instantly been switched back to wing. I have only noticed it about a week or so into making that trade with him that he never reported the automatic CBS positional change to a C. Indeed, Mike Rupp will stay and permanently to stay put as a winger as per the FOR calculation I've performed anyway.
There is no way that I know all of the BBKL centre/winger eligibility entirety, that'd be an insane claim. I hope you now get my point.

Just saying CBS is fucking with our listings, and GMs are using the ignorance claim to benefit themselves.

GM'S should all know if a player all of a sudden switched on CBS, and they should not take advantage of this. It has happened to me aswell. I traded for Craig Adams, and once he was traded to me, he switched over to W on CBS. Mika Zbanejad did the same recently for some reason, however in both cases I kept them as a Center, and I hope everybody else has aswell.

Right, I know. I mean just sitting there saying it's happening and not saying where it's happening is retarded.

I just explained extensively that I do not know where it is exactly happening, but I'm merely observing the fact that there are guys now coming out stating "oh looks like player x has been switched to position x since ___" etc, and that now makes me mad.

that big CBS update was taken care of, albeit not istantly, so switched positions were fixed.
What happened later with Adams and Zibanejad is different though.
If CBS adds a position the GM is responsible for keeping the player at the original bbkl-correct one.
But Adams and Ziba got their C position switched to W instead.
I already fixed Adams, back to C, but today he was again W.
Now I've fixed again Adams and ZIba as well, both C till the update.
