But St. Louis Blues would like to sign Andrei Kuchin.
He's still draft eligible kid.
I'm not sure... he was owned in the BBKL. Has this come up before? I know in the NHL the player re-entres the draft, do we do the same?
I think I've talked myself into the answer, and Kareem is correct. Sorry Shep.

If you want to draft the 20 year old healthy scratch in the OHL then go ahead. lol
Hang on to 5 year old hype if you wish.

Also, he doesn't have a contract which makes him ineligible for claim.

Although checking with an admin and CC member is
VERY good practice, it is not the final word. The topic has been posted in the CC, and I suspect that you will have tentative rights to Jed; if he doesn't sign a complete contract w/cap-hit he will be released.

Yup, it was approved and then I was told that it was going to be reviewed in the CC. Right now, it's more or less a placeholder for the claim
I've updated my SS and claimed him on CBS, both of which are easy enough to change if this is denied.

He's not eligible to be signed as he does not have an NHL contract.

No where in the CBA does it state, a player needs to have an NHL contract to be signed, that rule doesn't even make sense...NHL teams sign overage amateurs all the time, either to fill up their AHL rosters, or add to their farm system. Assuming said player isn't eligible for the NCAA, or an international FA what possible reason could there be for prohibiting the signing of said player?
I'm keeping Jordie Benn, until someone gives me a suitable reason to do otherwise...

Just going by the rules laid out for other players that I tried to sign and was denied access to earlier.

From what I understand, your signings were rejected because those players were still draft eligible.
