Last season FOR = .356

This Season FOR = .031
It was good to go, but as pointed out in the vacation thread i was away these past days..
thx to whoever made the switch on CBS.

Btw, moving forward please report the required link in your application, it saves a bit of time when we perform the check of the numbers.

I'm gonna copy here the post where i listed the required data for the application:
..the gates are open for potential early updates from C to W of players belonging to the 2 categories eligible:
- centers whose FOR was <.4 in the season used to determine their current position
- bbkl rookies (to be precise: centers who played less than 26 games the previous season and never reached 40 gp in one NHL season; i.e. centers whose position is still determined off nhl.com draft lists, or off CBS for undrafted players).

Remember that to be credited with the position switch the eligible player (see above) must satisfy both following conditions:
1) the number of NHL games he has played during the current RS has to be in between 26-29
2) his corrispondent FOR for the current season must be below 0.3

if your player is compliant, please fill the following form and post it here to request the update:

Player's name: xxxxxx xxxxxxx
Category: 'rookie' or pFOR = x.xx
2011/12 #GP: xx
2011/12 FOR: x.xx
NHLteam FOlink:
e.g. http://www.nhl.com/ice/playerstats.htm? ... centageAll

pFOR stands for the FOR of the season used to determined his current status.

Requests that will not provide all the data specified in the above form will not be considered.

Once the request is checked and approved the player will be switched from C to W until the ASG break at least, when further review will automatically apply (without request).

Please remind you will be allowed to use your player only in the specified position no matter if CBS leaves you the option of setting a different one too.
For future reference I've also added this to the 2nd post of this thread.

36/85 = a FOR of .42 which is >.3, our C cutoff line.

in addition to that he's only played 8 games, not the required 26-29gp for an early review (which he is eligible for as a rookie).

Cody Eakin

He's in the midst of completing his 26th game right now. He has 29 FOT over 240 minutes, giving him .12 FOR for the year. He's taken two FOs with 7 minutes of ice-time so far. I should't have to wait until the game's completed so you boys can make sure he didn't take 42 FOs today.

Why do you have to make a confrontation about nothing, eh?

Looks like an easy change and no reason to have your panties in a knot.

However 40 is not out of reach in a given game... look up Laich today. After the game I'm also confident the FOT for Eakin will be less then 42..but even if it was...he'd still be under .3.... i think he'd need 58 FOT today to be a C...but it's going into OT.. so... who knows!

99.99% said in jest btw. clearly the switch can happen, not performed by myself fwiw.

One more question though: Why is Malkin a winger?

Shouldn't he have switched after the first 26 games? Or was that for rookies only?

I believe Rookies only, and Malkin will be a C at the ASB

the 26-29GP review is by submission only. Expected for rookies and guys listed as C, who were fringe last year (pFOR <.4) and are wingers this year (FOR <.3).

Still waiting on Eakin's positional change. Which should have happened before roster lock yesterday.

Scott, Anton? I'm unsure who is handling the cbs positional changes now... I'm a CBS admin, however am not sure how to change positional listings...and it's a dangerous site to click around on...
