From what I remember it was incredible. It's been nearly 12ish years since I last saw it though :P. Will be nice to see how it's stood the test of time.

Ted was pretty good. Savages was a disappointment imo.

Shitty to hear that about Savages...Was looking forward to going to see it half price on Tuesday. Would you suggest just waiting for it to come out on video Anton?

I didn't want some crazy story Tony. Just lots of senseless violence.

I'd throw a suggestion to watch both Wallander (BBC) and Sherlock (BBC).

Both excellent series so far. Wallander is like Chief Inspector Morse in genre, while Sherlock is Holmes set in modern day and done still within the canon. It's very very well done and Cumberbatch's acting (Sherlock's character) is fantastic. Moriarty is fucking well done as well.

Both are 1.5hr long, full length episodes, each season is 3 episodes long. Give it a try!

Mike was telling me about that Sherlock series a few months back along with Justified (which the family and I watched and enjoyed).

I've seen one episode of the new Sherlock one and yah, it's pretty sweet.

i gotta be honest, i was a bit disappointed in the premiere. whole episode felt so rushed. breaking bad's storylines have always been a slow burn which is what's made the show so great, this episode was the opposite of this. scenes like the walt/mike showdown, saul revealing his involvement in the poison thing, the ted/skylar conversation would usually be HUGE deals but weren't really given the light of day in this episode.

im not worried though, im thinking it's just gilligan wanting to tie up all the loose ends from s4 quickly so he can move on to something new.

Was quite enjoyable. Not the best, but also not anywhere near as bad as some of the episodes in season 2

just re-watched it and its pretty clear they are just setting the table for what's really comin in s5. episode was much better on second viewing.

the cold open at the beginning is by far the most interesting part of the episode.

walt, with a full head of hair and full beard is in a new mexico denny's with a new hampshire license under a new name and buying a big ass machine gun?

my prediction: Walt gets in SERIOUS hot water and eventually uses Saul's guy to disappear with a new identity. while he's gone, someone close to him (skylar/walt jr/jesse/hank/all of them?) are killed/kidnapped or something. walt returns to rescue/avenge them in a blaze of glory with a machine gun. his cancer has returned, hence him popping pills in the washroom, so he's got nothing else to lose.

Is this all off the top of your head Anton?

Do you read any forums that talk about BB?

I ask because I could see all of that coming into fruition!

I just read a link from Aaron Paul's twitter account that this season in 16 episodes - the first 8 are airing now, then AMC will take a 4 MONTH BREAK and air the last 8. I fucking hated when they did this for The Walking Dead. Fuck you Christmas!
