LOL what would I post about? I'm only gonna spend time on something if I have an interest in it. Fantasy leagues I am not a part of do not fall into that. Luckily I do get very interested in fantasy leagues I am a part of.

Tim still needs some rules ironed out for him from the CC, but I can say everything is now decided for the other 30 teams. We will be following the NHL to determine who is eligible and not eligible for Vegas the best source for this right now is cap friendly. We won't be honouring NMC's and free agency has no impact. You can protect 7F 3D 1G or 8 skaters 1G. Teams must expose 2F and 1D who played 40GP or 70 over last 2 seasons.

Who is exempt from having to be exposed?

1st and 2nd year pros as it mentions there. Some grey areas like Parayko is listed there as exempt despite playing in the NHL for 2 seasons and 1 in the AHL for 17gp but that was on a PTO so it wasn't an official contract and didn't count as a professional season. Easiest way to know if your player is exempt is just checking cap friendly https://www.capfriendly.com/expansion-draft

6 games in 15-16 the AHL
Full time in the AHL this year

All gp in the first 2 years were after his OHL season ended.

CTRL+F on that link and search your player name for anyone else that is curious about a player.

One thing of note is that if a better source like an official NHL list is released that would be what we use, but for now Capfriendly seems like they are on top of things and should be correct.

Wondering why ess lindell isn't exempt. I thought you needed to play 9 games in the first year to be eligible:
2014-15: 5 games in AHL
2015-16: 77 NHL/AHL games last year
2016-17: NHL

On the other hand, William Nylander is exempt.
2014-15: 37 AHL game
2015-16: 60 NHL/AHL games
2016-17: NHL

maybe 1st year for nylander was on loan from SEL team? He came over halfway thru the season right?

Not sure what the case with Lindell was.
