Yea - I had Henrik + Daniel anchoring my offense but never Sid + Stammer + Giroux + Benn type core - that being said, I think I can take Nick's team's offense this year...I'd say he is a 60-40 favourite in the offense cats vs me but definitely doable.
has your team beat mine in the scoring categories even one week this year? Not saying I won't lose sometimes, but an honest question to date -> as I'll do the # breakdown this week shortly, I think my group is #1 in all scoring categories, baring which i believe Billy has taken over, GWG.
For me - not purely a scoring purpose to the trade, Ennis is physical for a little guy, lots of Giroux/MSL in his game. Do i think he'll be as good as Richards was in his prime? (or either of those 2 elite little-men) nope. Do I think he'll be better than Mikey, in the regular season, yes. Tyler MUST improve his faceoffs, but he's got the hands and workethic to do it, IMO. PK should come with time, his read on plays is at a high enough level to be an effective player short-handed. We're talking about Buffalo's highest even-strength and power-play time on ice centre - I think he looks amazing, and the numbers will follow.
Mikey's team doesn't rely on him in the regular season, if this league did play-off stats different story for me, guy is a 'player you win with'.
IMO I got the better player, it's not represented in the numbers currently (they are for all basic purposes identical aside from Richard's 30min shtoi), and I took a risk on value - if Ennis's numbers match his play, in a normal length season, I do not think 30g 35a+ is out of the question for him, with roughly 100hits, top end SOG and conservatively 450 fow.
Plus on NHL13 a line of Skinner-Ennis-Oshie just seems too right to me.
I'm excited for this week, as my first one with 18 active skaters

6 dmen is 2 more than i've had any week to date!!!!!
