That was my thought process down to a T, I also figure I can make up the value lost elsewhere, but I couldn't just acquire another Ryan Kesler. There are a handful in the entire league, and no one is trading them, had it not been for the injury you alluded too I'm not even sure that Steve would trade Kesler.

If Kesler were healthy i wouldn't even consider this deal,,,tbh, it's that time of the summer where i have a happy trigger finger....i didn't even need Kesler to the playoffs and should have held out, but oh well

I got a fair price from Kareem; not to mention, this deal took an entire 30 Seconds.

Kesler is BEAST. It was so hard for me to trade him to start last season but Scott ponied up. Couture + OkPo(flipped for Wheeler) + Jared Knight + Cgy 1st. I still lost on his prior season stats, but he hasnt done that since his injury. Couture is looking fucking amazing going forward. Big trade for both parties here. Both have some injury history and both are studs. I like it. I also like that Kareem adds to get the deal he wants.
