1. He is a a #1 C right now and that won't change in the near future.
2. Even if we land a #1 C (Who do we even have a chance of getting? LOL. But let's say we do), Bozak's draws and Points won't drastically change - EVEN if he becomes a 35 point player which - if you've ever seen bozak play - is well below what he is capable of, he is STILL very valuable in BBKL at 1.5M and 35 points and 600 FOW.
3. Even If we get a #1 C, I still say Bozak slots with Kessel and Lupul due to their amazing chemistry, with the #1C playing with JVR.
4. Skill doesn't change. I.e. Bozaks FO% of 52.7% won't.
5. Stats won't change drastically either IF AT ALL.

The value I put on Bozak would be much higher and I would buy into everything you were saying above if you were the GM of the Leafs Shiv. Unfortunately, youre not.

Obviously, your value on Bozak differs from mine, lets leave it at that.

obviously bozak's numbers would change if he was dropped to the 3rd line wtf...

playing with kessel and the extra ice time helps him rack more points than he would on the 3rd line. less ice time = less face offs taken. he'll still win them at a nice percentage, but with less taken he'll obviously win less.

that being said we've been looking for a #1 C for a while now and have had no luck. it's bozak's spot right now.

thats true of every fan base. They either love players too much or dislike them unfairly (ie Bobby Lou). BTW before you call bozak a 50 pt player, let him get to the 50 point mark lol.
