to check positions, you guys don't need to go into the numbers; just look at the list here:

aside from players who have yet to play enough games to be qualified accordingly with our criteria (less than 26 games last year and never 40 gp in one NHL season -> the caveat at the top of the page applies), for all the others being on the list means being listed as C, being absent means being listed as a W.
