99% sure I own that STL 2nd rounder. Just made a post about it in the Trade Block


Just realized.. I never received the OTT 2nd in 2011, I have a feeling that is supposed to be the missing STL 2nd (as I used to be Ottawa) and Calgary has the OTT 2nd and has not made a trade in ages, so it's not like I traded that pick to him.

Yep went all through CBS, I believe that STL 2nd should be mine.

If it is in fact supposed to be Ottawa's, clearly I'd rather have that .. but I can't seem to find when Shiv "acquired" that from Jay

Should we create a sticky post for picks that are in dispute? so we can have a good place for the CC to go and see what needs to be investigated?

Cc doesn't handle tracking picks. That is the responsibility of individual gm's.

It is much more difficult for others to look into trade history with the absence of an up to date trade thread, updating your team after each trade is very important.

In the circumstance where the CC needs to spend their time looking into it (last case) - Warnings will be given out for mistakes in asset ownership - not acceptable.

Give me a warning then, that's fine.

So if i was traded a pick by someone and now appears that it was owned by another GM not the one who traded it to me...what is the process to handle compensation or finding a resolution to the issue?

Ideally and historically the two gm's trace back how they received the asset in question.
Typically that will locate where the asset in question was double traded or misnamed -- and compensation is worked out.

I'm in the process of tracking what happened with my OTT 2nd I should have received from Shiv.

Shep I didn't mean to imply that you're getting fined - just because you have a pick that exists twice does not make you guilty - most likely it wasn't your mistake.

***NOTE: Due to a mix up Shoalzie's account on CBS does not have OTT's 2nd listed and placeholders cannot be added mid season. At the end of the season the pick will be added on CBS.

Can you guys add placeholders now? It says Calgary has OTT 2nd in 2011, but I have found no record of him trading it away.

We'll need a ruling on this, unless somebody else finds traces of this OTT 2nd in 2011 being moved.

That's all the work I'm doing. It's still something from between those 2 dates above.

The OTT 2nd (Billy's) is NOT on CBS. I tracked down HIM trading the OTT 2nd..

SO.. I the "OTT 2nd" that is owned by CALGARY, is actually the missing STL 2nd Rounder.


LONG STORY SHORT, I believe..

2011 OTT 2nd needs to be moved to St. Louis
2011 STL 2nd needs to be moved to Calgary (and OTT 2nd in 2011 removed)
