If you did your research you would also know he has a back to back tomorrow meaning Mac likely gets a start, and the remaining two starts are against elite offensive teams
that seemed to imply to me that something was changing... as in, last night, SJS was not an elite offensive team.

There is no implication whatsoever, I am quite clear in that sentence, "the remaining two starts are against elite offensive teams." You are misinterpreting the exclusion of the Islanders on that list (and rightly so), with the Islanders and San Jose, which is not the case, but FTR the Sharks were without their top offensive player last night.

I know it has nothing to do with this matchup but holy fuck KAreem, you are the curse.
You would be burned at the stake in a lot of countries for bringing evil vibes and witchcraft...

Its not even funny anymore. I would be scared to rub up against you because i would probably fall and break both legs about 5 feet down the road. its kinda freaky. Not fluky as this goes back to last year...Do you buy lotto tickets? You have some special powers.

I don't know what it is, I'm generally a pretty lucky person. the only time I can remember having anything resembling a curse was in middle school when I was nicknamed the "post master" on my soccer team, because of my tendency to hit the posts alot.

All I need is two-non collapses in the reminder games... it has been 25+ weeks since I last had a SO.

Early b-day gift I suppose...I'm really going to need a good start out of Miller otherwise thats 4 cats down the toilet.

Between now and Sunday I have a combined 4 more games played than Nick, and higher quality guys to boot. I am fairly confident I can pull out an 11-5-0 W, and potentially more if I can get a strong start from Miller/Lalime coupled with a stinker or two from Hiller on the weekend.

It's closer on paper (9-7-0) than it is in reality. Nick is one sog behind me, but with less GP has no hope of catching up, whereas I am one BS shy with my top defenceman playing more than his, and his top shot blocker (Quincey) injured, 1 STPT behind which isn't going to last long no one beats me in that stats. The stat in question is SHTOI, I can get close but whether I overtake it is ultimately going to depend on whether Lalime/Miller start Saturday night, and if i can a little lucky with some penalty trouble. Realistically though I should lose that stat finishing the week off at 11-5-0.

I'd say its exactly as close on paper as it really is.
You have a slight edge in goals and assists, neither are locked in. I have a tentative lead on BS, and as you pointed out Quincy out could directly impact that category as well as SHTOI.
I agree it's rather likely that you take back STPTS, however I'm praying for a +/- collapse, LOL. And seriously... Konopka is EASILY your MVP this week... not even close.
This could go right down to 10pm on the 14th when the CHI vs ANA game ends.

Alright so what's your prediction? Mine is 11-5-0.

Not sure. Learning towards a 7-9-0 loss. But it's tight, a big night from me and it's 12-2-2

I don't see 9-7-0 as a possibility, barring blowup tbh. I genuinely believe 11-5-0 is going to be the final outcome, but I can see an argument for 10-6-0 or 10-5-1.

Your being silly... it doesn't take a blowup for me to win SOG... or to tie GWG.... your talking about a few stats either way over the next 2 days.
