He now has

Malkin
Henrique
Wennberg
RNH potentially
Brodziak

Down the middle. Which is a strong center group.

and a new goalie, and solid periph team. He could grab a playoff spot away from Florida Boston or Tampa. I'm starting to feel the drain of years of not competing, so I can understand wanting to go for it. All it takes is a couple good series and hot goalie once u make the playoffs.
Just stop.

Bruyns wroteCOLONConnor is still getting better and Jenner hasn't lived up to how he broke into the league. I think henrique and Wennberg are close and I'd rather Connor to Jenner and the 2020 picks. Who knows how 2020 will go and if DET still isnt a playoff team then ya he overpaid more for Wennberg easy.
Jenner was still a 1st line caliber wing in this league last year lol! You are always the one harping on fantasy relevance vs real life relevance. No shIt Connor is the superior player in real life. He should be a perennial 60+ pt player with ppg upside. There isn't a snowballs chance in hell Scott should have had to add a 1st+2nd. God forbid Wennberg is moved back to wing and Jenner to center. This shouldve been more like a 1-1 swap.

Not the worst deal in the world but definitely didn’t need both picks in there. For as much as we tease Matthew for his offers he continues to get deals like this from time to time... hard to blame the guy.
