He and Nyquist were big disappointments. I obviously hope they rebound.
Tatar does have a cheap cap hit...so there's that.

Tatar is on paper the best piece today, but who knows tomorrow, especially in terms of BBKL contribution considering Larsson and Nordstrom bring much better peripheries. As far as I know, one of them may very well turn out to be a better BBKLer than Tatar in a couple of yrs.
for stats lovers..
Larsson had 8 goals over the last 20 games, while not exactly used as a scorer..
Nordstrom playing primarily a checking role (1.40 SHTOI per game) had a .40 PPG over the last 30 something game
Tatar's PPG was .48 over the same stretch, while being easily the lesser BBKL contributor in other departments
Nordstrom and Larsson are also both younger and cheaper than Tatar.
They're just victims of the number game on my roster since they're not waiver exempt anymore.

I probably moved him prematurely, but I think I did okay here. not good but not terrible either.
i get more periphs from larsson/nordstrom, and likely more points than previous years if Nordstrom sticks with Staal. (I see a lot of CAR unfortunately)
He won't be with Staal. They have TT
here's CAR coach talking few days ago:

about halfway through he got asked about the top two lines.. he expects Staal to start with Nordstrom (and said they've a top 9 rather than top 6)
