What I don't get is why you're so inclined to do so, trade back sure, wish you had the convo setup before your pick was live, but w/e that's you choosing to hustle, ...
guess what, I don't feel responsible for those taking long hours to come back, check PMs and reply. I already said I started negotiations ahead of picks #6 and #7, even without knowing for sure (at that point) I'd have moved down, but I guess I shouldn't waste time explaining things to people who are set on this crap for yrs, like I was among those who really hampered our draft in the past. LMAO.

We had already more than 20 picks in less than 2 days btw, going by math it seems to me with 10 picks per day we would finish our draft comfortably before the NHL one starts.

Yeah, ducks it took a while, but everyone is within their rights. No big deal.

Time slots would stop bitching about people taking 12 hours and would ensure we are done way before the NHL draft. Could start on the 15th and have it done the day before the NHL draft.

What I don't get is why you're so inclined to do so, trade back sure, wish you had the convo setup before your pick was live, but w/e that's you choosing to hustle, however you moved back 2 spots and I know you well enough to know you have a list... easy to leave since the rest of us are sitting here excited (new Hampshire).

if everyone shopped their pick every time it went live we'd grind to a full-out halt.
Not directed solely at Mik , but a lot of it is greed. Sure I can pick now but I might be able to get that guy a couple spots later and add another good pick so I'll wait and see if anyone wants to help me profit.

The solution to that is draft slots so instead of 8 or 12 hours on the clock GMs only have one and know the exact one hour slot they will be drafting in but that idea has never picked up any steam in this league so we will continue to have GMs try and profit when they are OTC each year and with the system we have it is within their rights unfortunately.
draft slots brings more damage than benefits as far as I'm concerned. A total limit for each GM for each draft would bring benefit without forcing people to organize their life after a precise stupid timing of the day several times in a month.

btw, given these insisting comments (not directed solely at bruyns), I should have used all my time trying to move down to 12 not caring if Arian was around. It was a useless attention in insight.

5 2nd round picks, 12 hours each.. 2 and a half days on my picks alone in the second round. Best part is that I have 2 sets of back to back picks.

Greifing is a slippery slope :)

Oohh and then 3 more in the 3rd.

^ I don't think I've used 12 hours total on my picks in the 6 years I've been drafting in the league.

I just believe we should be better at this, and to each other, by this point in time. Don't need to squeeze the lemon dry by shopping the pick every time it goes live.

just in case you missed it:

pick was made less than 13 minutes after I went on the clock. Not sure if that's considered enough time to shop the pick, but I can tell I didn't.
