Not sure how Fabbri couldn't be considered blue chip. Reinhart also wasn't 1st overall and I do prefer it for Fraser too, but think it will help both teams since Dallas desperately needed to turn assets into multiple quality assets. Fabbri is also 1.72 pt/gm compared to Reinhart's 1.46 this year, it's not insane they could end up similar offensive players at the NHL level.

Sorry, he was 2nd overall and was in consideration for first overall the entire year.

Does Will need players? Sure, but If you are going to trade a guy like that why not make it widely known to everyone that he's being shopped? Surely someone would have given up more.

He did put him on his trade block, but making a Reinhart block would have made it more visible. I advised him I wouldn't do it so you are right I would make that trade if I'm Fraser. I also have zero issues with him choosing to pursue it since I can see how it will make his team better and it's the type of trade that could pay off big for him depending on Fabbri, Parayko, the 1st and what he can get in return for Sekera.
