Daleys game is solid defensively. There's nothing wrong with him other than age (32 i think)

daley would be underwhelming given the D available but not a total waste of a trade by any means.

He's only 30 actually. But yeah I'm not sure how I feel about it. He's better than what we have, but there are better options. Depends on the deal and maybe Dallas keeps some cap if this is true.

I want the leafs to get Andrew MacDonald - a mobile/versatile defensive dman, would be nice next to almost everyone of our current D.

If the price involves Gardiner, I think we'd be getting a plus back our way.

i say we trade Gardiner how Riley has been playing this year it allows us to do that,

say we package Gardiner and a prospect for top 4 d man would be good like a elder or something like that

i like jake gardiner, but he's an expendable piece for the leafs. if we could get a legitimate veteran #2 (edler, ehrhoff) using him i'd do it in a second.
