Hudler+Roy=Spezza....Raanta>Miller, especially given my teams makeup. I am also hit hard by injuries currently so moving my depth hurts me short term, and once Raanta's value increases as it seems likely to do especially given what has been said in this thread this looks even worse.

Also interesting you omitted your original offer of Brad Ross for Raanta? If his value has gone from a fair deal of Ross for Raanta 1-1 to Spezza over the course of a week I think I might be wise to hold onto him.

Josh now has a bidding war over his goalie prospect who everyone now knows Shiv wants. However this shakes down, Shiv will get his man in the end but he is going to have one wide hole in his behind.

Hudler + Roy is probably = to Spezza. But you received a terrific W in Drew Miller back (for those that don't know, check his h2h numbers. he is unreal).

Anyways, I didn't make the post to troll you. Just to post my reasons for the deal, one of which was your lack of willingness to trade Raanta (which could end up being right for all I know).

And I see you omit the point I made wherein Miller is worth less than Raanta? Not saying Miller is bad, he does have nice h2h numbers but its not worth a potential 24 y.o. starting goaltender.

I definitely didn't mean to troll. But you seem to have taken offence anyways.

I repeat, you could end up being right on Raanta. But for my team, losing more than the Spezza offer made no sense, because I believe I lost that deal. You don't, which is great. I don't care anymore as I don't own the CHI goalies. Deal with Shook now.

I'm sorry, receiving #1C like Spezza without losing an additional skater is virtually impossible. I'm definitely not as diplomatic as you. I think Josh was stupid to reject that offer.
