haha that's completely understandable. completely fluent I am guessing?

I have to be truthful here...im dissapointed in myself for not taking french throughout highschool after doing 5 years of extended french leading up to it (same as immersion just math was in english).

While it would have still been the dirty quebecer french (no offense lol) it would have been better than nothing! One of these days maybe ill download some rossetta stone..

Oh ya completely fluent. My dad's side is the french side and they're from Cornwall (the french part of it anyway). I grew up in Ottawa myself. Did all my elementary and middle schooling in total french but went to an english high school.

Lost some of my accent ind you when I moved to the GTA...not enough practice. That being said when I started working at my present job 5 years ago dealing with alot of quebecer clients I picked up some of their bad habits lol.

Me too... I went to a French language school in elementary, learned French grammar before English. Didn't really use it until I took a French call centre job in university and got thrown into speaking it 8 hours a day. That was about 6 years ago and I've lost a lot since... Recently started listening to French podcasts in an effort to get it back.

i just want to point out that this is a thread for non-leaf fans, and there is no hockey talk taking place
