Apparently the Richards issue has to deal with an issue at the border on Friday. The Kings found out about an hour into the draft and Lombardi spoke personally to all the teams involved with talks to tell them that all talks had to end because of the issue.

Was trying to figure this out too, seems like there are lots of guys out there still and not that many jobs. STL might need a goalie as Elliott is UFA I believe, not sure if Allen is taking over?

Not going to lie, i've been to both cities a few times (Calgary and Boston) and even though Calgary is probably the nicest city in Alberta/Sask/Manitoba, i'd much prefer Boston.

That said, there's obviously reasons for dougie wanting out.

Looks like maybe the rumors of Dougie being a poor fit for the locker room might be true after all. Wonder if thats a Boston issue or a dougie issue though?
