Yeah, the Bruins did just miss the playoffs and suffered a lot from injuries at the wrong times and lots of swings etc. If you see some development from within, a return to good numbers from Marchand, timely goaltending from Rask and some injury luck the Bruins could easily make the playoffs. I think the Sens miss the playoffs myself, not a believer in the run they made last year, but would be happy to be proven wrong.
Buffalo actually terrifies the hell out of me, really like the team Murray is putting together there. Talented and tough to play against.

The entire Atlantic Division is STRONG now. League parity is in full swing with the salary cap.

I thought both Talbot and Williams were UFA? And no Morrow on the D next year?

Continuing to show why they are the current laughing stock of the NHL.
Rinaldo - goals scored 8, games suspended 14. Flyers were also outscored by nearly a 2:1 ratio with him on the ice. All that's left now is for them to sign Beleskey to 5.5M to top off their great offseason.

the guy has yet to play 200 games in the league and offering him 5.5M is a slap in the face?
Jesus fuck... like he was Bobby Orr LOL

Maybe they found something out recently? Lombardi is a lawyer himself and obviously the team has their own lawyers as well. There must be something there as I can't see them risking their future reputation with free agents over nothing.

If Richards downfall is due to a drug use problem, i'm not sure thats the type of team culture i'd want to be creating on a soon to be young team such as Toronto.

Exactly what I was thinking, if you're serious about rebuilding why are you bringing in band-aid veterans, even on the cheap.

Agreed
i'd sign Hodgson though. He and Kadri had chemistry at the worlds 2 years back.
