i serioulsy dont get it either. i would have paid him 10mil if i'm the leafs. TSN radio just said the leafs make 100 million a year in profit with a bad team, and twice that with a good team on the ice.

who cares what they pay a guy who doesn't count against the cap.

fucking right and also could care less about management salaries. Pay management, coaching and scouting 100M a year for all I care, no cap implications and won't prevent them from spending on players.
