Holy smokes I actually grew up with matthew and talked to him last winter at a Moosehead game. I knew he was a sports journalist in halifax but I had no idea he was the founder of capgeek until I had seen his face on the news last night. I didn't connect the dots with his last name. I had assumed the founder was a major business man from the US. He never talked about ccapgeek the few times I had run into him.

Dave missed Thats Hockey 2Nite when they said the leaf ratings are the lowest in Canada out of all Canadian teams, one saturday night they were even finished behind curing for tv ratings which has never happened in canada before.
i think it looks good on the leafs organization. finally the paying fans have had enough.

He blows compared to MacLean. Sounds like he is reading everything right off the teleprompter.

How bad are the Coyotes? Mike Smith has posted a .941 SV% & 2.13 GAA this month, and is still 1-7-0.
I do think the infusion of young talent and development of young players on the team already will improve them a good amount next year.

Its pretty likely they will be drafting at #3. Will be interesting if they take Hanifin or a forward in that position. Wouldn't surprise me if they took Strome.

Bob McKenzie believes the leafs would lean towards Marner over Strome because of the Mark Hunter "connection" and pat kane comparison.

TBH I'm stoked to be getting 2 of Hanafin, Marner or Strome, unless I win the lottery... which would be a shame

also very defensively responsible, which is rare for a highly skilled winger in junior

Mckenzie even dropped the name Provolov? he said he was some russian dman and they leafs maybe interested in him.
i dont know much about that guy (not even sure if i spelt his name right - just sounded it out from what mckenzie said) but i'd be pissed if we didn't take one of Hafinin, Marner or Strome

I've seen a bit of Provorov. He's actually a very good player but if we're picking top 5 I'd be pissed we passed on one of those guys as well. He's probably in the next tier after them IMO.
