We're at year 7 (I think)...maybe we do re-boot after year 10?

Year 8: 2016-17
Year 9: 2017-18
Year 10: 2018-19

Do the reboot in the summer of 2019? Our last drafts would be in 2018 and we play out the '18-19 season.

I'd be for continuing this same league until I'm old and grey. I find that interesting.

Part of me wants to see this through because I've toiling away at this but part of me wants to start fresh at some point. It depends on how everyone here feels about it.

Either do it immediately or wait a few years and so every can run their teams with that thought in mind. Prospects and draft picks will become useless at some point if were are going to start over.

I don't think everyone is stingy, I've had a lot of talks with GMs lately, and even though a deal hasn't come through there hasn't been a disagreement about value, more so its because the standings are mostly set and I don't want to go all in this year and not win, and other teams are rebuilding and aren't interested in vets. Scott and I's deal came together in an afternoon though and we both seem content as far as I know.

that's what can make this league special.. a re-boot would be the end of it (of that special interest, at least for me)

Lee join ADHL for a league in infancy. NJD is open right now! Practically stock roster, holding it's own pick projecting in the #2 spot.

BBKL is what a keeper league is supposed to be. We are dealing now with our early decisions.

I like two modifications to the new goalie game played rule:

A) The new version can't penalize teams with an NHL goalie system. It is unlikely any NHL team will ever play 6 games in a week.

B) The new rule focuses on just penalizing Wins and Shutouts. Previously, the rule focused on all 4 categories, despite sv percentage and gaa not being directly affected in an automatically positive manner by playing more games. Thus, Penalizing all 4 categories (2 of which shouldn't be penalized) was likely to cost the offender the series (his entire season).

One question: why did cc decide to remove the shutouts for the goalie with less games played, even though that may have been the first game occurring in the week?

What are the advantages vs i) removing the shutouts of the goalie with more games played, or ii) removing shutouts accrued for starts beyond 4 games played?

I'm sure this was discussed and there is a reason you went with the final decision, but was just wondering.

Thanks again for making this rule more finely tuned. Appreciated.
