Can you show us the # Frank. We are not responsible for doing your homework for you.
I show you the last time i ask and no one did anything. Like I can't change the position by self, I would love too but cmon guy's.
You guy's just love complaining when last time I showed you the stats. Thx St Louis to show the stats again.
Can we change Craig Adams back to a fucking wing now? He only took faceoffs LAST year because Crosby, Malkin AND Stall were injured ... fuck your "stats."
hey douche nozzles, im sitting here with sharp, mcmillan, and smith all listed as Cs. none of them play C. fuck you and your number. common sense reigns supreme.
Sharp is just as likely to move back as he is to stay on the wing, the kane @ C experiment i throwing a bone in your spoke.
Smith is annoying for you I'm sure, having JUSR acquired him.
McMillan was at risk of being pushed to wing when they added Cogliano; but they're still sorting out their lines, 5 games in here guys... how many people are complaining about players going the other way???
Nick Spaling, Jussi (not sure what he ended up being), Lieno, Geofrrion, richard park, Benn, moss, Jason Appletown & Patty Kane clearly playing centre... there will be some centres changing to winger @ 26gp, and some wingers changing to centre at ASB - but the positions will be right when it matters in the playoffs, not based on perception, opinion, hearsay or 'who-you-know' but rather on a measure everyone has know well in advance, which allows each GM to plan for the pending changes.

Can someone refresh my memory on what is deemed eligible for the early update? The 25 game mark i think it is? I am not complaining I am just asking. Everyone knows the only reason Zetterberg took all the draws last season is because Datsyuk was injured. Datsyuk is back now, he is the center. If it stays that way for 25 games, Is he eligible to be dual? I mean he was one of the finest examples of a true dual. And yes Nick, I would gladly put up any wingers i have that may have taken enough faceoffs in that period to be switched to C. I just want to know if players like Peverely and Zetterberg have to wait until allstar break before they can be labelled correctly as no competing team is wanting to offer up the correct value for said players when they are forced to occupy a position that holds value like a C while not receiving stats in that category.
- early updates
Two categories of centers are eligible for an early update during the season:
- centers whose FOR was <.4 in the previous season
- rookies (to be precise: centers who played less than 26 games the previous season and never reached 40 gp in one NHL season; i.e. centers whose position is still determined off nhl.com draft lists, or off CBS for undrafted players).
Once these players will have played their 26th game of the season, GMs will have the chance to ask for an early update of their position: if FOR<.3 the Center will be moved to W.
GMs will have a limited window to apply for the early update: from 26 to 29 gp; if the request is posted in this thread after the player has reached 30gp it won't be taken into consideration and the player will remain a C at least until the ASB.
If the player happens to reach the 26gp mark after the All Star break, he won't be eligible for a new update. i.e. ASB updates will be final.

Zetteberg had virtually the same number of fow last season, as the one before...The guy is a center.

With 14 fow through this many games and Datsyuk with 70 something? With that logic Iginla, Kopecky and Powe should also be C. Why not make 70 percent of the League centers? I know this is a tough system to implement and be perfect and it will benefit and detract various GM's. But some common sense has to come into play in the first year. I know we will get better sample sizes as time goes on but there are many variables that should come into play when deciding who is eligible for early update. I mean look at Boston. Peverley was an awesome C in Atlanta and then he got traded to Boston. Kelly the same. There is 4 lines on a team with 4 centers. Boston has Bergeron, Krejci, Kelly, Campbell, Peverley, Kelly, Seguin. All C. How can no common sense be used in our system when looking at the above example? If a player was traded to a team the FOR calculation should be used with stats taken on the new team, not the prior team they were traded from. That is one example i can think of that should make a player eligible for the early update then review again at ASB.
