Like, what if that pick was #1? With the post lottery format, it guarantees that the worst team can absolutely not get the #1 pick, and in all likelihood will pick #3. It's so bloody ridiculous removing the chance of another team to win the lottery because a team misses gp. Pre lottery is so obviously better.
It is as though lee is being punished twice.
like I could understand if it was my pick and I missed gp. I didn't. this is setting a bad precedence moving forward.
it doesn't help that we are talking about a truly generational talent; the best. prospect since Sidney crosby

The precedent that can't be set is changing rules in season; however, It should be changed moving forward.

Compensation is a 2nd and a 3rd, this draft year or next

If the 3rd or 4th spot don't win the lottery...then the point is moot.

I can't trust the opinion of people who can't be bothered to have an opinion on such an important matter.

I barely contribute to anything in the CC, and haven't for about a year.
If this weren't time sensitive I wouldn't touch this.

time sensitive? I've been bringing this up since before the season ended.
the CC , in its current form and member base, is ineffective at their jobs. this isn't news or new.

yup, and I've avoided it until about an hour ago, and am looking forward to going back to not thinking about it in 15 minutes

Of course greatness is never achieved alone. We sent our own Nick Kypreos to Newmarket Ontario to talk to a very influential person in Connor's life, his Grandmother, Evelyn.
