Jordan GreenWay: He went a bit later than my selection, but I think he will be an effective NHL'er eventually. I like that he went to Minny.
BBKL = #39
Prediction = #57 (EDM)
NHL = #50 (MIN)

Martins Dzierkals: I couldnt be more pleasantly surprised to be wrong, although I wish he was selected by a different team.
BBKL = #157
Prediction = #113 (WSH)
NHL = #68 (TOR)

Dmitry Zhukenov: I think he was underrated going into the draft, so not surprised he went earlier. Super happy Vancouver grabbed him.
BBKL = #177
Prediction = #153 (TBL)
NHL = #114 (VAN)

Stephen DesRocher: Stop taking my players, Toronto.
BBKL = #163
Prediction = #160 SJS
NHL = #155 (TOR)

At this point I may only have 4 of my 9 selections taken in the NHL draft. Yikes.

Still to come: Trevor Moore, Dmitri Yudin, David Jankowski, Vyacheslav Leshchenko, Rodrigo Abols

4 out of 7 taken...and that's without a pick past early 6th round. Really surprised Ryan Larkin was past up with so many goalies going late in the draft. He'll get to showcase himself at Miami so we'll see what happens with him. It's good to have 90 roster places.

2 exact predictions.

3 guys undrafted (very surprised by Vehvi and Olund, and Hansson&Niku were close)

on top of those three, 4 players selected in a lower range than where I picked them.

6 players were instead selected in a higher range.

Niku & Vehvilainen the biggest fallers when comparing to my prediction.

Very pleased with Saarijarvi and Simon destinations!

Will Borgen #98 Flyers
Anthony Cirelli #93 Hurricanes
Connor Hobbs #117 Oilers
Gilbert BBKL - 106 went 91 to CHI
Borgen BBKL - 109 went 92 to BUF
Cirelli BBKL - 136 went 72 to TBL
Hobbs BBKL - 142 went 143 to WSH

I was optimistic with my predictions and was close other than Hobbs who went where I took him. Combined 95 spots ahead of BBKL draft spots with my 4 picks. I'm sure a few GMs had 95 spot jumps for one prospect, but still very happy with my 2nd BBKL draft and also added 3 '14 picks who I feel made significant improvements in their draft +1 years in Lintuniemi, Friedman and Blais.

Zborovskiy taken at 79 in the NHL was our highest prospect not taken in the BBKL.

Dante Saliturno taken at 91 in BBKL was our highest prospect not taken in the NHL.

Here is my BBKL picks compared to NHL

1 (7) Mikko Rantanen 1 (10)
2 (37) Anthony Beauvillier 1 (28)
2 (54) Mitchell Vande Sompel 3 (82)
4 (107) Gustav Bouramman 7 (201)

my Bouramman pick was off, but I think he could be a big time steal for Minny.
