My issue has been guys like Kyrou that are obviously not playing C at the NHL level, but don't play enough games to qualify for a review and get stuck in a position they don't play. Those rookie players who played C in juniors and won't play C in the NHL have always been an annoyance to me when they can't be played on the W for like half the season.

Don't know what the solution is and C or W designation has always been a touchy subject in this league and I doubt we ever find a solution that appeases everyone.

Matthew wroteCOLONIf you have more positional Updates it could also be a negative, as you never have certainty to have 3 centers, and may need to make a trade every 5 weeks to acquire another one.

I think the certainty is quite beneficial.
At least everyone has the FOR on the website now. Nobody can be caught off guard - definitely makes it easier for everyone.

I guess like last year, which means I'll perform it during the 18th-24th week, and it will apply starting with 25th febr. roster lock

The final update of the season has been performed:

C -> W
Barzal
Roslovic
T.Johnson
W.Nylander
Dea
Ehn
R.Thomas
Radil
Carpenter
Sundqvist
Hendricks
Ma.Peca
Gagner

W -> C
M.Kempe
Laughton
Nugent Hopkins
Goodrow
Coyle

Tony, Hong, Luke and Loki (iirc) have been using players with duals without reporting them. If someone has time to investigate whether in previous weeks those players were only used at the position corresponding to the previous update FOR or not (and, if not, if that made the roster illegal vs 3/5C, 6/9 W), let me know.
Koommzzz also had Nick Paul listed as dual, but don't think he's been used.

Please report before next roster lock any mistakes or omissions, including possibly remaining duals.

Also, GMs have time till next roster lock to ask for reassessment of their players should their FOR move above/below the 0.45 threshold along the remaining games of this week. Galchenyuk for example seems like a perfect candidate given how close he currently is.

Is hawryluk meant to be on the wing now? Rookie who has played 22 games and has taken pretty much no faceoffs

Those updates have been made towards Week 21 on my spreadsheet.

Barzal going the wing looks weird.

I think Sam Gagner should be a winger on Fantrax. He is on google.

not eligible for an update based on this season FOR cause he has played only 9 games rather than 20+. However, not sure why he started this season has a C in the first place when his FOR at the end of last season was only .412, which does make him a W.

Fixed now.

Yeah, any player like him...he would be at the position he's at based on last season's FOR.

Mason Appleton is currently dual in FT and C in googlesheets - should be W in both (33gp, 0.00 FOR)

He definitely should move to W. I'll update that on my spreadsheet.

Oops, sorry dude, didn't notice. I'd only made minor tweaks in my Fantrax roster the last few weeks so I didn't spot them going dual. I've only been using them in the positions that they match up to on the Google Spreadsheet though so I imagine that should be the correct position for them? I basically swapped Goodrow and Thomas's positions though so nothing would have made my roster illegal. I've jumped onto Fantrax and fixed them up now.
