The Sharks are a dangerous team when Pavelski, Setoguchi and Clowe as the lone offence up front, but now the top line has decided to show up...Watch out for the Sharks!

Re: San Jose V. Detroit Discussion Thread
What sucks about that loss was that the Wings played their best game of the series and still found a way to lose.
I won't complain about the overturned goal from Zetterberg...I knew the call was going to get reversed after seeing the first replay. The Wings got a break with the penalty shot opportunity but failed to convert. They kept Pavelski off the board and killed off each Sharks power play opportunity...both things they had to do.
In the end, blowing the 3-1 lead in the third and the poorly defended 2-on-1 in the overtime will stick out. They did a lot of things right but it wasn't good enough. I'm not giving up but the Sharks took the Wings best shot and hung on. Maybe this is the year they break through. Things went their way last night.

Re: San Jose V. Detroit Discussion Thread
Anyone know why they took Franzen's 4th goal away, and credited it ro Filpulla? I saw no redirection/tip on the replay...
Re: San Jose V. Detroit Discussion Thread
its the first goal they adjusted i believe.
off of burt's leg. so franzen ends with 4-2-6

That makes more sense, on nhl.com it had the 4th being adjusted, im sure it was just an error though.facey wroteCOLONits the first goal they adjusted i believe.

Re: San Jose V. Detroit Discussion Thread
Franzen had an alright game.
Although nobody can blame the Sharks for losing. They were on fire.

Re: San Jose V. Detroit Discussion Thread
I don't want to get ahead of myself but the Sharks better hope they finish the Wings off on Saturday because the Joe will be a hornets' nest on Monday at the slightest chance they can push this series to a Game 7.
I'll say it...Game 5 is as much of a must win for the Sharks as it is for the Wings.
