San Jose Sharks would like to Claim Jason Akeson of the Kitchener Rangers.
He will be 21 and illegible for the next entry draft, and to my knowledge isn't eligible as an OHLer for the waiver draft.
If I'm wrong my mistake, but otherwise I need a CBS placeholder for him as well.

That rule I believe applies for NCAA agents, don't recall it for CHL prospects. I couldn't find a rule saying I couldn't do this in the CBA, but couldn't recall past rulings.

After thinking about this I think Lee is actually correct so my claim won't go through. However it should be added to our CBA as our current one only says NCAA agents must be signed, not CHL players. If CHL players also must be signed then it should be noted there as well.

Lee is absolutely correct. Only players with contracts are claimable.. everyone else is held for the waiver draft.
