As a group we drafted lots of Russians: 30

This hasn't happened in the NHL over the past 10 drafts (as far as I went back). Over those 10 years the NHL averaged 16.6 Russians, although in the last couple years the number of Russians has trended upwards (2019=28). I suspect we will see a decent number of Russians go undrafted.

Also, there were at least 4 Belarusians taken in the BBKL draft. The most taken in 1 year over the past 10 NHL drafts has been 2, and the avg over the last 10 years is 1.
