Re: Hanifin for a C
dont you get tired of perpetuities of never winning (and knowing for a fact that you never will, either), yet having no promises in the farm system for years on end, still relying on some ancient cycling method of NHLers? just tear it down
Re: Hanifin for a C
To be fair Tony Has had some strong teams until recently.
It took you a long time to tear it down . Same with me

You haven't been paying attention. Tony has been making his nhl team younger, and has some decent players in his minors now: broberg, Suzuki, Holloway.kimmer wroteCOLONdont you get tired of perpetuities of never winning (and knowing for a fact that you never will, either), yet having no promises in the farm system for years on end, still relying on some ancient cycling method of NHLers? just tear it down
Given how old his team was I've actually been pretty surprised at how quickly he's been able to turn that corner.

Agreed! I’ve seen Tony actively trying to strengthen the pipelineMatthew wroteCOLONYou haven't been paying attention. Tearing it down is also easier said than done. Has taken me a lot of time, patience and luck to get all the futures assets I currently have.

I’m also the impatient asshole who drafted Gaudreau and Kaprizov and traded them away for nothing because I was tired of waiting. I have some younger promising pieces which is why I traded away my 1sts to try to compete a least a little. I’m just not engaged if there’s no chance at doing so. If I’m dead last at the end of the year I’ll probably just throw my arms up and bow out... let someone who actually knows what they’re doing take over.
Not desperate to move Hanifin, btw. Just seeing what’s out there.
Re: Hanifin for a C
i know. you havent returned with the kind of force you used to. mistakes can be made. just not repeatedly to NSH. thats all. i know you leanred from kaprizov deal. just lookin out for a fellow brother. always able to lend a ear when your going gets tough.
