I guess I should be impressed with his. 903 sv percentage? Wasn't aware we're living in the 80'sLee wroteCOLONI always knew you were bad with numbers, Casper
Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
Career? Sure. Let's talk about the 2 games he played prior to this year. One per season.
3 goals again in his first ever GP 2 years ago, playing half a game facing 6 shots.
Second GP last year 3 goals on 16 shots , again, half a game.
This year, he has a 2.59 GAA and a .912 sv %
11 wins in 16 GP
So sure, he wasn't great in his first 2 GP but it's rather disingenuous to report 2 games played over a 2 year span against his first actual year in the NHL. But then again, I wouldn't expect anything less from you

Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
Again, not exactly mind blowing. He's also had 7 of those 16 games end in a sub. 900 sv%. Even at his best he is wildly inconsistent.Lee wroteCOLONCareer? Sure. Let's talk about the 2 games he played prior to this year. One per season.

Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
Rookie goaltenders are inconsistent. Shocker.
If we are going to cherry pick, only 3 of his last 12 games have been sub 900 and even then one of those games was .897
He's also won 4 ofhis last 5 games, one being a non decision. and his save percentages = 923 1000 974 and 955

Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
Don't you mean literally his last 4 starts? And 5 out of 6? No need to convince me though. If you think he's an NHL starting goaltender keep him.Lee wroteCOLONRookie goaltenders are inconsistent. Shocker.

Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
If Fleury keeps getting injured, he very well may be sooner than later.
If he stops getting injured himself.
Hoping between Stolarz, Subban and Lindgren that I may have something. No rush to compete so not too concerned

Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
Better hope Stolarz gets traded then.
Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
With his injury I wasn't expecting even AHL games from him this year. I don't see Mrazek as a long term option in Philly
Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
I was bc that was always the plan. And Mrazek is not the one to worry about long term anyway.
Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
Yup best case scenario for Stolarz was to establish himself this year and be traded when Hart is ready.
Re: NHL Transactions, Injuries & Rumours
Also have some back up plans with Fucale (lol), Hawkey (looks to be the best in the habs system right now) , Kivlenieks (some paper transaction NHL recalls), and long long long term Petruzzelli in Detroit, though he needs to start playing or move to the CHL

Not yet official yet because the trade call with NHL has not happened but BOS and NYR have a deal in place for Rick Nash. Return to NYR expected to include BOS first-round pick and prospect defenseman Ryan Lindgren, but there are other elements to the deal as well.
