You disagree I take it Kareem?
Re: to vs van!
its a very good team, the overall depth is impressive, but it just seems like its their time to win because all the other top teams have suffered major blows to their rosters due to salary cap concerns... not trying to take anything away from the canucks i just dont see them on the same level as chicago last year, or pitts the year before that... regardless, they have (and will have) several hurdles to pass before we can crown them as anything more than the second round jinx, but they are looking very formidable and a very tough team to play againstRaptactics wroteCOLONOk, stacked may of been the wrong word but I do think they have one of the deepest, well built teams.Mashley93 wroteCOLON"canucks are stacked" = full retard....
on a side note, i think they have a very underrated team toughness in both physical and mental terms... almost every player on the roster has a healthy degree of sandpaper to their game, whether its dishing out hits (rypien, bieksa, kesler etc) or being able to take it and keep on playing their own game, and im specifically talking about the sedins, i dont see them hit much, but they sure can take a beating and keep on trucking... secondly, even more impressive than the physical toughness is their mental stability, there is a reason why this team has won so many come from behind games in third periods (last year, and im sure they will this year), this is something that could very well drive them all the way this year, they seem to be able to play the same game (most of the time) whether they are tied, are winning or behind by a couple goals ... to be honest due to their mental toughness i see some comparisons to the detroit team from a couple years ago, they never really needed a goon, but they had a roster of guys that all had somewhat similar character and it was more than anyone had at that time, we'll see if the canucks can bring the same results

Van is super deep on the backend, have some of the best scorers and playmakers up front + a mix of skill, grit and speed.
Gonna be pretty hard to beat in the west.
Have i said how much i hate watching hockey again this year, fack, it's like it will never end.

Vancouver is going to bypass the first round with ease, meet up with Chicago in the second round and get swept, somethings never change.
